Important Dates for Residents

September 1st - Office Closed in observation of Labor Day
September 1st - Rent, Repayments and Retro Rent
September 5th - Last Day to put Rent in Drop Box before 4:30PM
September 6th Rent plus $25.00 Late Charge
September 8th - Late Notices
September 9th - August evictions filed (Rent plus $25.00 Late Charge and $50.00 Court Cost)

Job Fair - Come dressed to impress.

The Housing Authority of Florence along with SC Works are sponsoring a Job Fair, Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at the Housing Authority Office located at 2640 West Palmetto Street, Florence, SC. Local and National Employers will be on site. Veterans Only: 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM General Public: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM. For more information, contact SC Works Pee Dee at 843.519.1245.

Reminders

Trash - it is your responsibility to keep around your front and back doors free of trash and debris. Pick up and place in your trash can. It is not your neighbor's responsibility to pick up trash from your area.

Utilities - Failure to keep your lights, gas, and water on will result in your lease being terminated.

Curfew - It is your responsibility to make your guest aware that there is a 10:00 PM curfew.

Decals - It is important that your Resident Decal is visible in the rear window of your vehicle. This will ensure that your vehicle does not get towed. Please give your Visitor's Plague to your guest upon arrival to ensure their vehicle does not get towed also. We have no control over when the towing company will canvas the parking areas, therefore we encourage residents to be diligent in providing guests with the visitor's plaque.
