Important Dates for Residents

  • July 1st Rent, Retro Rent and Repayments Due
  • July 2nd - Office Closed in observation of Fourth of July
  • July 6th - Last Day to put Rent in Drop Box before 4:30 PM
  • July 7th- Rent plus $25.00 Late Fee
  • July 7th Late Notices Delivered
  • July 21st - Evictions filed for July Rent

Safety

Please drive slowly and watch out for children playing.

If your children are outside playing, please make sure they are hydrated and using sunscreen.

Please remind your children not to sit on the Air Conditioner Cages

Reminder: no pools of any size or trampolines are allowed on the premises.

The Curfew is still in effect: No Loitering On Premises After 10:00 PM.


Garbage Containers

Garbage containers can be placed on the curb as early as 6:30 AM on the day of trash pickup. Please remove your container from the curbside as soon as possible. Leaving it beside the curb is a violation of Darlington City Ordinance.

Please do not dispose of any kind of grease or oil around your unit. Put these items in disposable containers and throw them in garbage containers.


Public Housing Online Rent Change Information

Go to www.darlingtonha.org Click on Housing - Click on Rent Change Request PH - Click to request an interim rent change - Fill out questionnaire and attach all supporting documentation to process your rent change. Failure to do so will result in your rent change not being processed. All documentation should be emailed by clicking here.


Towing

Towing is in effect!! Please make sure you always have your Resident Decal or Visitors plague in your car or guest car. We do not call the towing company; they randomly come by and check.

If you are ill and your car is not operable, please inform your Housing Manager (Mrs. Elaine Bell-Ansong 843.393.0439 extension 2004) and/or the Maintenance Director, (Mrs. Karen Beedy 843.496.8519 extension 2003) so they can inform the towing company if an inquiry is made about your vehicle.


Rent Payments In The Drop Box

Please print your name and address on the front of your money order before dropping it in the Drop Box. If you use a company envelope to put your money order/check/ cashier's check in, please print your name and address on the outside of the envelope.

Please do not include your rent money order /check/cashier's check in with your Recertification packet or any other paperwork that you are turning into the Housing Manager. 

A Great Option To Pay Rent Pay Online - Go to our website: www.Darlingtonha.org and click Pay Online, register and pay. There is a $3.00 fee associated with processing the payment.


The Community Room at Pine Village is available to Rent

Maximum Guest - 60 people with table and chairs

Rental Hours

  • Day Light Savings Time
    • Monday through Thursday: 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM
    • Friday and Saturday: 10:00 PM until 7:00 PM

  • Fall and Winter
    • Monday through Thursday: 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM
    • Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM

Not available for rent on Sundays, Holidays, or weekends of a Holiday

No alcoholic beverages or smoking allowed on premises

Cost: $150.00 for Tenants $200.00 for Non-Tenants

Refundable Deposit of $50.00 is due at time of booking. (Refundable if room is cleaned and vacated at time stated on contract to close)

Please call or email to schedule an appointment prior to coming to the office. This will eliminate waiting time or having to make an appointment and come again. Making an appointment will also allow staff to assist you with your concerns in a timely manner.

In case of an Emergency after hours, please call 843.496.8519, leave name, phone number, address, and a brief description of your emergency. An Emergency is classified as anything that threatens the health and safety of residents or HAD property.
