2025 Important Dates for Residents

  • December 1st - Rent, Repayments, and Retro Rent
  • December 5th - Last Day to put Rent in Drop Box before 4:30 PM
  • December 6th - Rent plus $25.00 Late Charge
  • December 8th - Late Notices Mailed
  • December 9th - November Evictions filed (Rent plus $25.00 Late Charge and $50.00 Court Cost)
  • December 23rd - December 29th Office will be closed for Christmas 

Important Notice:

  • Bacote Street, Court Street, Farm Street, and Southern Pine Street Pest Control Will Be in Your Unit on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 (This Will Be Your Only Notice).

NO PARKING ON GRASS IS ALLOWED AT ANYTIME FOR ANY REASON INCLUDING GUEST!


Events in the city:  Friday, Dec. 5, the day prior to the Downtown Darlington Christmas Festival, the City of Darlington will host Photos with Santa in Wells Park from 6 - 8 PM.

Saturday, Dec. 6, The Beacon of Light Institute for Veterans hosting 2nd Free Food & Toiletries Giveaway Honoring our everyday heroes - Veterans, First Responders, and their families. Location:  Darlington Elks, 836 Timmonsville Highway, Darlington, SC. Time: 9:00 AM - 3 PM (Military ID (Active or Retired) Employer ID for former or current first responders.

Saturday, Dec. 6, the day will kick off with the Darlington Farmers Market beginning at 10 AM. The Darlington Farmers Market is housed at 103 Pearl St. just off the Public Square, and throughout the morning and early afternoon, local vendors will sell baked goods, produce and homemade crafts. The Darlington Farmers Market will stay open until 2 PM.

The Darlington Rescue Squad's annual Christmas Parade will begin at 2 PM. Following the parade, the Downtown Darlington Christmas Festival continues into the evening. There will be live music on the Public Square and a Christmas movie showing outside the Darlington County Historical Commission and Museum, located at 204 Hewitt St.

Bethel AME Church 1321 South Main Street Darlington, SC Food Give Away in conjunction with Harvest Hope every third Tuesday from 9 AM until 11 AM. Must have ID.

Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church 552 E. Billy Farrow Highway Darlington, SC (843.393.5952) Food Give Away in conjunction with Harvest Hope every third Saturday 12 PM until 1 PM. 

Darlington Inside Farmers Market - December 2025 103 Pearl Street, Darlington, SC

Darlington County Coordinating Council Community & Homeless Resource HUB Meetings every 3rd Wednesday of each month. 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. THANKSGIVING DAY - Happy Thanksgiving - THANKSGIVING DAY

Join us in the Community Room to pick up a Thanksgiving Meal from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM until all dinners are distributed.  Sponsored by Community Connection Darlington.


The holiday season is almost here, and we want to inform you about our office closure and extend our warmest wishes for the festive season. Here are the details:

Christmas Holidays: Our office will be closed from Wednesday, December 23, 2025, through Monday, December 29, 2025.

New Years: Our office will be closed Thursday, January 1, 2026. Normal Operation will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Emergency Contacts: During the closure, our maintenance and emergency contacts will be available for any critical issues at 843.496.8519.
