Thanksgiving Pretzel Treat Recipe

Prep Time: 8 minutes
Cook Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

This easy Thanksgiving dessert idea is a favorite for young and old. Requiring only 3 ingredients, Thanksgiving Pretzel Treats are an age-old favorite!

Ingredients:

  • 20 Pretzel Twists
  • 20 Rolos or Hershey's Kisses
  • 20 Orange and Yellow M&Ms (You can also add red and brown colors too)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Arrange the pretzels on a baking tray lined with parchment paper
  3. Place a Rolo in the center, on top of each pretzel
  4. Once done, pop the tray in the oven for 2-3 minutes (As soon as you see the Rolos beginning to melt, pull the tray out of the oven)
  5. Remove and quickly but gently place a colored M&M on each softened Rolo
  6. Set aside to cool
  7. Enjoy!

Housekeeping Tips

General Cleaning: Tenants are responsible for keeping their homes clean. Routine cleaning helps provide a healthy environment for you and your family. Clean high-use areas, including kitchen countertops and sinks, daily. Clean floors and bathrooms weekly. Dust fan blades, wipe cabinets, and complete similar tasks monthly. Your Housing Manager and Inspector will assess your home's cleanliness during routine inspections.

Bugs and Pests: Help prevent cockroaches, ants, ticks, fleas, and other pests by following these steps:

  • Keep your apartment clean.
  • Bag all trash, place it in the trash bin, and empty and clean the bin regularly.
  • Store food in sealed containers or bags inside cabinets.
  • Do not store, prepare, or eat food in bedrooms.
  • Keep doors closed and repair any holes in window screens.
  • Report bug or pest problems to your Housing Manager.

Trash: Keep your apartment and yard free of trash by following these guidelines:

  • Keep the provided trash bin outside your home.
  • Bag all household trash and empty indoor bins into the outside bin regularly.
  • Place the bin at the street on collection day and return it to your apartment afterward.
  • Keep the lid closed and wash the bin after each collection to help prevent flies and maggots.

Housekeeping Inspections: Residents who fail an inspection will receive a report listing the items that must be corrected. Housing management staff will reinspect the home within 10 calendar days. Failure to correct the listed housekeeping issues may result in termination of the lease.
